Ablation is a limited-edition gin of the Old Tom type, distilled in a Scottish manufactory specifically to celebrate the sixtieth anniversary of the first American orbital flight. 

Our team faced the difficult yet interesting task of branding combination: traditional, strong alcohol saturated with delicate notes of liquorice and pepper with the high temperature of friction of the atmosphere, stars and space. For this reason, when designing the bottle, we opted for a semi-transparent, dark flask made of thick, smoky glass reminiscent of the sooty windows of a landing orbital module. The typography used mimics classic design and the use of metallization adds a modern and discreet shimmer to the product.
